No Questions Please

6 Apr

It is 1:15 p.m. We have eaten lunch, read stories aloud, and now it is “Quiet time.”  I have grown to really look forward to this time of day.

-Little ones put your heads down to nap.

-If you don’t nap, please read for 1/2 hour then you are welcome to write, draw, build legos… for 1/2 hour.

-No talking and please do not ask Mom any questions!

In our culture, we tend to fill our schedule to the limit. There are so many “good” things to do! Unfortunately it often leaves no time for quiet.

Take time to be still…
